Script

The Script feature allows the user to define a set of operational and/or configuration commands when an advisor toggles from ‘false’ to ‘true’. It enables creating dynamic configurations and behaviors.

Operational commands are executed in order and print their output to the log; configuration commands are committed together.

Important

The use of interactive commands can cause the current session to become unresponsible.

Limitations

Some commands and options are not currently supported, for example:

• Operational:

  • monitor commands

  • Interactive commands

  • poweroff and reboot without additional arguments

• Configuration:

  • Commands other than set and delete

• General:

  • Redirection with pipes
