Monitor filtered traffic

Options:

size <int>

Size limit for each generated file (‘save’ option must be specified)

Values:

  • int – Size limit for each generated file (millions of bytes)

files <int>

Save monitored traffic to a set of rotated file (‘save’ option must be specified)

Values:

  • int – Number of files to rotate stored traffic through

vrf <id>

Monitor specific VRF

Reference:

system vrf <id>

Values:

  • id – VRF name

packets <int>

Monitor a certain number of packets (default: 1000)

Values:

  • int – Amount of traffic packets to be monitored

filter <txt>

Monitor filtered traffic

Values:

  • txt – Monitor filtered traffic

save <txt>

Save packets data to a file

Values:

  • txt – Filename for captured packets (without extension)

remote <value>

Enables remote capture

Values:

  • value – Remote capture information

interface <ifc>

Monitor a specific interface

Values:

  • ifc – Interface name (if none is specified this tool will monitor all the interfaces)
