When troubleshooting OSDx, it is important to follow a structured approach to identify the root cause of the problem. This article contains a set of steps to follow when troubleshooting OSDx.

First, we need to do some basic checks to ensure that the OSDx is working as expected. Please refer to this chapter: Inspecting Network Layers.

Then, if we find a service or feature that is not working as expected, we need to check the logs to identify the problem. We can enable the logs by following this chapter: Enable Logs, or we can enable syslog to send the logs to a remote server Enable Syslog.

If the problem persists, we must check if a crash report has been generated by following this chapter: Tech Support. If this is the case, we must contact the support team and send them the logs, system information, and crash reports.
